Funding for 9 months to 2 year olds

All children from the term after their 9 month birthday to 2 years old, if eligible may be

entitled to government funding. This is currently 15 hours a week, term time only.

Funding for 3-4 year olds

All children the term after a child’s third birthday are eligible for 15 hours funding and

working parents that meet the eligibility criteria will also be entitled to another 15 hours.

At Greyfell Academy funding is worked out over each term, divided by the amount of

months and then taken off your monthly fees. This means we do not increase your bill

during school holidays and you have no hidden extras to pay such as meals and nappies.

Child Tax Account

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For

every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your

provider. You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare

if you’re eligible for both.
